Divination (from Latin divinare 'to foresee, foretell, predict, prophesy, etc.')
The word divination is a latin word which originally means to foresee or to be inspired by God. It is a controversial word especially where the bible is concerned. In the bible the word divination has quite a negative meaning despite Jesus disciples doing divination themselves! In Acts 1:26 when the Disciples were casting lots, which is cleromancy, that was a form of divination.

Exodus 28:30
